We are looking for a full-time MANAGER

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

 

•    Manage sales

•    Welcome customers in accordance with standards and ensure that the sales team applies these standards.

•    Advise customers on all products available in the store.

•    Guide customers towards the brand's flagship products.

•    Build customer loyalty and retain customers.

 

•    Organise the store.

•    Organise sections and aisles to attract customers and increase store.

•    Train staff on the products available in the store.

•    Ensure the store is in good condition so that it is welcoming and clean.

•    Organise and participate in cleaning the store.

•    Organise, supervise and participate in stocking the store sections.

 

• Manage store stock

• Place store orders in collaboration with the persons responsible for this at the French Head Office.

• Receive ordered items in accordance with established procedures.

• Restock based on store sales and sales forecasts for the coming month after validation by Head Office buyers.

• Manage product returns according to established procedures and with the approval of buyers at Head Office.

• Prepare, supervise and participate in inventories.

 

• Manage administrative and financial tasks

• Manage the shop in accordance with the operations manual.

• Update daily sales figures for reporting purposes.

• Manage the shop till.

•    Take responsibility for the shop till.

•    Act as the link between the shop and Head Office in France.

•    Show solidarity with guidelines and decisions.

•    Provide the Human Resources department with all the information necessary to prepare payroll and any other requirements.

 

MANAGEMENT SKILLS

 

•    Manage and update sales staff working hours, complying with legal obligations.

•    Plan and inform sales staff of the tasks to be carried out during the working day.

•    Train, energise and motivate the team in order to create a favourable sales environment.

•    Anticipate future hires: after analysis and interviews, provide all information to Human Resources in order to make the desired hire.

•    Participate in the recruitment of store sales staff in collaboration with the Area Manager and Human Resources.

•    Actively lead, plan and coordinate store marketing activities as a company ambassador.

•            Depending on the directives of the hierarchy:

•    Set the objectives to be achieved.

•    Monitor the results obtained.

•    Analyse deviations.

  

 

The Store Manager may be asked to perform other duties depending on the needs of the service.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

 

•    Minimum of 3 years' experience as a manager.

•    Proficiency in IT tools (Excel, Word, messaging).

•    Proficiency in sales techniques and KPIs.

•    Knowledge of surf culture.

•    Knowledge of commercial and labour legislation.

•    VM skills will be valued.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
